And a pretty special sunset.

The view from my deck chair in Shakespeare’s garden, shading from the 30 degree heat.

Definitely worse places to be, we were on the South Bank on a glorious bank holiday weekend to see Warhorse.

Rainbow seen from the train as I head into town.

Streatham Common kite day.

Always a good day to come and enjoy London marathon in the sun.

Don’t get the chance to just sit in the garden and read my book very often.

The start/finish line at Silverstone F1 track. Somewhat quieter than the race weekend.

A long walk through the centre of town ending up at an extremely high tide on the Thames. Beautiful spring day.

I don’t think I’ve ever been held up by Tower Bridge opening for a boat to go through before.

The City was absolutely heaving last night. Felt very much like the olden days of 20+ years ago.

Feels like the first proper day of spring

A gift from child number one today. She understands.

A great and windy day so we visited the Olympic Park.

A day at Sea Containers house on the Thames

The glamour of the easyJet holding pen before boarding.

The waiting room for Eurostar at Rotterdam is far more relaxed than St Pancras

At a conference in Rotterdam today at the Van Nelle Factory, an historic piece of Dutch architecture. Half the sessions are done in a silent disco format which is quite a weird experience!

Always good to get on the Eurostar. A very relaxing way to travel.

Don’t often get to Greenwich in the dark. With the mist tonight it’s quite atmospheric.
